Privacy
A short, plain-language privacy notice.
Couples DBT is an educational website. It is not a clinical service. Nothing you read here creates a clinician–client relationship, and the site is not designed to receive protected health information (PHI). Last updated .
What this site is — and isn't
Couples DBT (couplesdbt.com) is an educational publication about dialectical behavior therapy adapted for couples. The content is written by Tanner Oliver, LCSW. Clinical care happens through Tanner's outpatient practice, Front Range Treatment Center, under a separate Notice of Privacy Practices governed by HIPAA. Please don't send protected health information through the contact form on this site.
What we collect when you contact us
The contact form asks for your name, email, an optional phone number, and your message. When you submit it, your message is delivered by email (via Resend) and stored in a private Airtable base used only for triage. Cloudflare Turnstile is loaded on that page to filter automated submissions; it sees a token associated with your interaction but no identifying form fields.
We use this information to reply to you and to keep a basic record of who has reached out. We don't sell it, share it with marketers, or use it to build a profile of you. If you'd like your record removed, email contact@couplesdbt.com and we'll delete it.
Analytics
The site uses Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 (configuration in progress as of the date above) to measure pageviews, traffic sources, and broad usage patterns. Analytics data is pseudonymous (no name, email, or PHI) and is retained according to Google's defaults. We don't run advertising trackers, cross-site cookies, or behavioral pixels.
Cookies
The site sets minimal cookies — those required by Google Analytics for measurement, and any set by Cloudflare for security and performance. There are no marketing or advertising cookies. Modern browsers' built-in tracking-prevention features will further restrict what's stored.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any data we hold from your contact-form submission by emailing contact@couplesdbt.com. Residents of jurisdictions with applicable privacy law (CCPA/CPRA in California, GDPR in the EU/UK, etc.) have the standard rights granted under that law; reach out and we'll honor them.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS via Cloudflare. The contact-form pipeline (Resend + Airtable) uses authenticated APIs over TLS. Tanner is the only person who reads inbound messages. No one outside Tanner's working setup has access to the Airtable base.
Crisis disclaimer
The contact form is not monitored 24/7 and is not a crisis service. Replies typically come within one business day, Monday through Thursday. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or call 911. For intimate partner violence support, the National Domestic Violence Hotline is 1-800-799-7233 or thehotline.org.
Changes
If this notice changes materially, we'll update the date at the top. For substantive changes affecting people who have already contacted us, we'll reach out by email.
